As a Chiropractor for the past 25 years I have seen and helped thousands of patients with musculo-skeletal complaints. Living a healthy chiropractic life style was almost complete. Complete,except for the 50 pounds that I had gained over the years, and the hypercholesterolemia that went along with the 50 pounds. I wanted nothing more than to get off statin drugs. Also,there was this bathing suit picture taken in November of 2010-Yikes! It was then that I realized it was time to do something about the way I felt and looked. Enter- Take Shape for Life!
Six months later and almost 50 pounds have been shed. I am so much happier with the way I look. I feel genuinely healthy and thrilled to be rid of the need for statin drugs. I continue to use the Take Shape for Life products while maintaining my weight. Now as a TSFL Health Coach I am enjoying helping many patients lose weight rapidly and safely, reduce their level of drugs and for some, eliminate them completely through Take Shape for Life.
When my doctor showed me his office BMI chart…I was shocked to learn that I was “obese”. I already knew that I was overweight (most of my life), but that new reality really hit hard!! My immediate reaction was to tell Doc to “GO AWAY”! I believed that I could follow yet another diet on my own. Denial right? BIG time!!!
5 months later, having failed again…I finally got beyond my “battle of the mind” to ask Doc for help and began “my battle of the budge”….this time with the simple TSFL program.
After losing 47 lbs, being excited, happy & energized, I decided to share TSFL with the world as a supportive health coach. One of the best decisions of my life!
Take Shape for Life has given me back my life! I was not very active for most of my 40s. After losing 55 lbs with the Take Shape for Life program with Dr. Nick Pennings, I am back to biking 75-100 miles on the weekends during the spring, summer and fall and in the winter months, I do spinning for 1 hour several nights a week! I have been able to maintain my weight loss for 4 years and feel the best I have ever felt.
