Meet Lauren Grigsby: The PA Bringing a Decade of Expertise to Touch Med Spa

If you’ve been in for Botox, filler, or a laser treatment at Touch Med Spa, there’s a good chance you’ve sat across from Lauren Grigsby. A physician assistant with ten years in the industry, Lauren is known around the practice for her patient education style — and for a passion for aesthetics that goes back further than most people realize.

From Orthopedics to Aesthetics

Lauren didn’t start out planning to spend her career in a med spa. She went into PA school with plastic surgery already on her mind, but her very first clinical rotation was orthopedic surgery — and she fell in love with it. She spent years working everything from total joint replacements to trauma care and sports medicine, drawn to the privilege of meeting patients on their hardest days and walking with them toward recovery.

That instinct — meeting people where they are and helping them heal — is the same one she brings to aesthetic medicine today.

Where the Passion for Skin Really Started

Lauren traces her interest in aesthetics back to her teenage years, when a sudden bout of acne left her searching for answers at a local med spa. A couple of laser treatments and a solid skincare regimen later, she saw real results — and felt the shift in her own confidence firsthand. That experience stuck with her.

“If there’s one little thing that’s so subtle to somebody else, but I can help them adjust it into something they look at every single day, and I can help them just ever so slightly fix it — I wanted to be able to do that for somebody else,” she explains.

A Decade of Getting to Know Her Patients

What sets Lauren apart isn’t just her clinical background — it’s how she listens. Rather than treating a line or a shadow at face value, she digs into a patient’s goals, lifestyle, and what they actually want long-term before recommending anything. It’s an approach built on the belief that no two patients — and no two treatment plans — should look the same.

Why She Landed at Touch Med Spa

Lauren moved to the area about two years ago, and before she ever joined the team as a provider, she was a patient herself. That experience — walking in and immediately feeling comfortable, cared for, and free of any ego in the room — is part of why she chose to build her career here.
