We have some extremely exciting news here at Touch MedSpa! Introducing our newest laser platform… the Sciton Joule X!! So, what exactly is it? It is a skin resurfacing treatment that uses a customizable and highly targeted laser to dramatically improve skin appearance. This platform allows for a controlled ablative and coagulative processing of tissue, meaning the surrounding tissues are left undisturbed. This aids in rapid healing! Pretty neat, huh?
Is the Sciton Joule an IPL or BBL machine?
It is a BBL which stands for Broad Band Light.
How does it work?
Pulses of light energy from BBL heats the upper layers of skin. The light energy is absorbed by things such as broken vessels or pigmented lesions. These are eliminated from the skin and restored to its natural beauty, making it more vibrant and youthful in appearance.
What skin conditions can be treated?
Pigmented lesions (i.e., freckles, age spots, melasma), vascular lesions (i.e., small blood vessels, rosacea), acne, skin laxity, uneven skin texture, unwanted hair.
What treatments are you offering with this platform?
Forever young BBL, forever clear BBL, SkinTyte, and the HALO.
What is Forever Young BBL?
This is an anti-aging treatment, as well as a great maintenance treatment for those that wish to keep their skin looking great after corrective cosmetic procedures. We recommend a package of 3 treatments for optimal results. This should be maintained quarterly. Maintenance will keep the skin looking 10 years younger.
What is Forever Clear BBL?
This is a treatment that helps to get rid of acne. The skin is first treated with blue light to eliminate acne-causing bacteria. Then, green light is used to reduce inflammation and redness. Finally, the skin is treated with skintyte using infra-red light to initiate the body’s natural healing process. This should be done twice a week (with at least 3 days apart) for 3 weeks.
What is SkinTyte?
This is a non-invasive, no downtime procedure that heats the deepest parts of your skin to create tight, beautiful skin on the surface. All body parts and all skin types can be treated. SkinTyte is usually done as a series of 4 treatments spaced 2-3 weeks apart.
What is the HALO treatment?
This is the world’s first and only hybrid fractional laser. It uses two different lasers at the same time to treat different parts of the skin (i.e., epidermis and dermis). It has little to no downtime, and it is a great tool for fine lines and wrinkles, tone improvement, melasma, pore size reduction, and scarring.
